Welcome! My name is Craig and I am a speech therapist, formerly known as the Big Apple Speech Guy. My new company is called Brooklyn Letters, a local New York City private pay speech language therapy company. All professional services are offered in your Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens home or at your child's school. Cathy brings her California cool to the East Coast with a laidback but professional sensibility with over twenty years of experience and she travels to your Manhattan home! She is excited about helping young children to adolescents and families achieve their full learning potential. Cathy encourages family involvement and she will provide you with the most up-to-date information about speech language development and learning delays.

Cathy is PROMPT trained and a New York licensed speech-language pathologist, who has worked with babies to adolescents in all types of environments from early intervention, preschools and elementary schools to private practice. She is an expert with a variety of speech and language disorders and delays including: late talkers, articulation/enunciation problems including apraxia and oral motor difficulties, autism spectrum, language processing issues, reading and writing remediation, stuttering, feeding delay, hearing impairment, and augmentative communication. She understands how these delays treated early on in development can later help develop social and academic competence.

For school age children, Cathy’s specialized language arts tutoring incorporates each student’s curriculum into the language therapy session, so they can improve their vocabulary and grammatical development, listening and reading comprehension, expressive writing skills, organizational skills and more!
